Grand Opening Ceremony of Unibrom Technologies Sole Co., Ltd. Attended by Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone!

On November 16, the production commencement ceremony for enterprises within the Asia-Potash Smart Industrial Park was grandly held in Khammouane Province, Laos. As a downstream extension and critical component of the park’s non-potash industries, Unibrom Technologies Sole Co., Ltd. officially commenced operations, marking a major milestone in the development of Unibrom Corp.

The event received high-level attention and support from the Lao government. Over 70 senior officials, including Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, former Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad, Minister of Industry and Commerce Malaythong Kommasith, Governor of Khammouane Province Vansy Phongsavanh, and Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office Phoukong Nammavong, attended the ceremony. Mr. Wei Huapeng, Chairman of Unibrom Corp., along with 17 company representatives, participated in the event. Government leaders provided constructive insights on the development, operation, and production of Laos’ bromine deep-processing project, jointly witnessing this historic moment.

During the ceremony, Minister Malaythong Kommasith, Governor Vansy Phongsavanh, and Zheng Youye, Vice President of Asia-Potash, delivered keynote speeches. They emphasized the Asia-Potash Smart Industrial Park’s ongoing expansion in non-potash ventures and the bromine chemical industry chain, highlighting the importance of resource integration and comprehensive utilization efficiency. The speeches underscored the park’s cluster development model in driving Laos’ social progress and strengthening China-Laos friendship.

At the subsequent banquet, Unibrom Technologies’ technical team presented detailed explanations of production line technologies, operational workflows, and market prospects, engaging in in-depth exchanges with industry experts and scholars. Attendees praised the company’s innovative practices in fine chemicals, recognizing its positive role in advancing Laos’ fine chemical industry. The banquet also featured traditional Lao cultural performances, including dances, music, and handicraft displays, allowing guests to appreciate the nation’s rich heritage while fostering cross-cultural understanding and laying a foundation for future collaborations.
