Unibrom Corp. "one-stop" customized service empowers the landing of oilfield chemical technology
Recently, Unibrom Corp.successfully completed its overseas high salt saltwater sealing fluid completion technology service project. Relying on its own oilfield specialty chemical laboratory, the company provides customers with full chain support from demand analysis, simulation evaluation to product selection, assisting in the safe implementation of well completion operations under high salt and complex working conditions.
The project is located in the southern dome block of the Odoputu oilfield, and the operating base fluid is high-density saline water containing sodium chloride and calcium chloride. The customer urgently needs local products to replace imported sealing fluid lubricants.Unibrom Corp.strictly replicates the underground working conditions, constructs a three-stage evaluation system covering compatibility, lubrication performance, and resistance to hydrocarbon pollution, and completes multiple sample evaluations under 70 ℃, high-speed shear, and oil invasion conditions.
Unibrom Corp. has independently developed three lubricants, UBDrill-143, UBDrill-144 EBL, and UBDrill-145 EP, all of which have passed rigorous testing:
- At a dosage of 1% and 3%, it is fully miscible with high salt base solution, and the system is clear and stable;
- UBDrill-143/UBDrill-145 EP is a native low foaming formula that does not require defoamers, while UBDrill-144 EBL only requires 0.2% defoamer to complete defoaming;
- Accurate adaptation of lubrication performance: UBDrill-145 EP is suitable for sodium chloride system, UBDrill-144 EBL is suitable for high friction calcium chloride well section, UBDrill-143 takes into account long-term stability, and the lubrication coefficient is less than 0.4% at 1% dosage;
- Outstanding core advantages: UBDrill-143 has excellent resistance to oil pollution, and remains uniform and stable even in the presence of white oil and oil-based mud invasion, without flocculation or sedimentation.
Based on experimental data, Unibrom Corp. proposed a scenario based selection plan: UBDrill-143 for oil pollution or no defoamer conditions, UBDrill-145 EP for sodium chloride system, and UBDrill-144 EBL for calcium chloride high friction wellbore sections, providing customers with standardized selection criteria.
This service is a typical practice of Unibrom Corp. integrated model of "demand docking simulation evaluation multi product comparison selection scheme implementation support", effectively avoiding selection risks. The company's oilfield specialty chemical research and development center can undertake customized evaluation, domestic substitution, and formula optimization businesses. In the future,Unibrom Corp.will continue to enhance its integrated R&D and evaluation capabilities, providing high-performance and cost-effective oilfield chemical solutions for complex downhole conditions worldwide.
